This page describes what is actually running on this site today. It is generated from the same configuration that decides which third-party scripts load, so it cannot drift out of step with the site itself.
The short version
- Pax Autocratica Archive has no accounts, no logins and no comments, and asks you for nothing.
- We do not collect names, email addresses or payment details, because there is nothing here to collect them for.
- Third-party scripts do run, and they are listed individually below.
- The only email we hold is email you choose to send us.
What we collect ourselves
Nothing, directly. The site is a set of static pages. There is no database, no account system, no newsletter, no comment section and no form that submits anything anywhere.
Two interactive tools on this site, the requirement checker and the buy-timing walkthrough, run entirely in your browser. Your answers are never transmitted to us and are not stored; they disappear when you close the tab.
If you set a light or dark theme, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key theme. It stays on your device, is readable only by this site, and can be cleared through your browser settings.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard server request logs including IP addresses in order to serve pages and protect against abuse. That processing is Vercel's, not ours, and is covered by their privacy policy.
Analytics
The site loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-TNZSHJJMQR), which sets cookies to measure how many people visit and which pages they read. We use it only in aggregate, to decide what to write next. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors.
You can prevent this with Google's opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking the script in your browser or an extension.
Advertising
The site currently displays no advertising and loads no advertising scripts. We intend to display advertising through Google AdSense. When that happens, this section will describe exactly what it sets and how to opt out, and it will be updated on the same deploy that adds the script rather than in advance of it.
Links to other sites
This site links out heavily and on purpose: source links to Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Internet Archive exist so you can check our claims. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control. None of our outbound links are affiliate links and none of them earn us anything.
Email you send us
If you write to contact@pax-autocratica.online, we keep your message so we can reply and, where it is a correction, so we have a record of why a page changed. We do not add you to any list, because there is no list. Ask us to delete your message and we will.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Since the only personal data we hold is email you chose to send, exercising those rights is a matter of writing to the address above. For data held by Google or Vercel, their own policies and controls apply.
Changes to this page
When what the site loads changes, this page changes in the same deploy. The date at the top reflects the last substantive revision.
